JEDDAH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, which focused on Hajj preparations and regional developments, according to the report.
The crown prince welcomed pilgrims arriving from around the world and instructed authorities to deliver top-tier services through efficient security, health, and organizational measures to ensure a smooth Hajj season.
He also reviewed record-breaking performance reports of the Kingdom’s non-oil exports in 2024, underscoring the country’s progress toward economic diversification in line with Vision 2030.
Ministers highlighted Saudi Arabia’s continued rise in digital governance, including its leading regional position in the UN e-government index for the third consecutive year and a 92-spot jump in the global Open Data Inventory.
On regional affairs, the Cabinet called for de-escalation in conflict zones, condemned Israeli airstrikes in Syria, urged a political resolution to Sudan’s crisis, and reiterated support for a two-state solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
